Breath Of Fresh Air Toner 250g Spray Pump Bottle

I ordered my 250g black bottle of A Breath Of Fresh Air over the phone with a large handful of other products. (No Lush Store in our town)
I plunged my paws in my box of goodies (which does seem to be a bottomless pit, but it will eventually come to an abrupt and sad end - sigh) and plucked out from the sea of popcorn, my bottle. (Products packed in popcorn, cool)
Breath Of Fresh Air, as with many other products from Lush, has a label on the bottom of the pot, and this tells you who made it: Don, the date it was made and the expiry date.
Ok, time to go in yet again, fourth time – A nice sized black spray pump bottle containing a light watery liquid as expected. My twitchy little nose detected a slight sweet Rose scent. It contains Spring Water, Sea water, Seaweed Absolute and Patchouli amongst other ingredients found on their website.
Oh Patchouli, you either love it or hate it, in my Hippybunni days, just the hint of the stuff had me hopping a mile. No fear, here, my twitchy nose has not picked it up.

Lush recommend that you either spray some on a cotton pad to remove the last bits of cleanser or just spritz onto your face.
This toner is part of my new Lush 1-2-3 regime: Ultrabland cleanser and Imperialis moisturiser and I am happy to use it twice a day and spritz whenever needed.
Aaargh, spritz – the art of pushing my paw on the pump and push to spray. Caution – you need to aim straight, the first couple of sprays went way.way off course, into my left ear! Not a pleasant feeling I must admit. But, something good has come of this faux pas, my dry ears can take on the resemblance of crazing paving some days, (I have shoulder length hair that is worn in a pony tail or similar 99% of the time, so ears are always on show) now they are beginning to look like cute and more confident fluffybunni ears.

After cleansing my sensitive chops, it was quite a joy to spray (got the aim right this time, on a smaller target?) the toner on the cotton pad and swish it all over my chops, it does remove all excess cleanser and really is extremely refreshing. My old bottle of diesel type toner from the Clinique 1-2-3 range that I used for sensitive/dry skin, used to dry my skin and seemed to strip out moisture.
Because of the totally natural ingredients, flower essential oils, this toner does not dry skin, like many others that contain alcohol.
Breath Of Fresh Air is “exactly what it says on the tin”(bottle) it leaves my problem skin feeling healthy and fresh, luckily breakouts have never been a problem on my face, but eczema on the body has haunted me. My left elbow still has some red patches of what I call ex-eczema, the eczema has almost gone one day then rears it's ugly head the next. As with Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub, my experiment of spraying some of the toner on to the elbow, worked very (extremely) well, the redness has reduced, as has the itching.
Lush state on the bottle “Reduces dryness, soreness and redness” 10 out of 10 carrots, for this toner.

Power to produce? Yes indeed, the fourth one that delivers. They use Aloe Vera Gel to soothe skin, Rosemary oil to rejuvenate and Rose Absolute to to calm the skin. Central heating and Air Conditioning are the greatest bug bares to my dry skin, but if it starts to feel tight I just (take very careful aim) spritz on Breath Of Fresh Air.

Would I recommend it?
Yes. 250g bottle = £5.50 . I think this is good value for what it does. It really does hydrate the skin and I can see this lasting for ages.
The Seawater used contains mineral salts - great to get re-mineralising.
Another big bottle of joy to join the others on my bathroom shelf, my red card bench is getting filled up, Clinique 1 and 3 were the first to go, Astral joined them and now Clinique 2 has made the hat – trick of the season.
Hat - Trick? 3 in row or bunni's jumping out of hats?
Overall Breath Of Fresh Air does make me feel very happy fluffybunni.
I decided to try this Toner as I have very dry skin, and due to several eczema breakouts in the last couple of years, thought that a natural approach to all my skin/bath and body products without chemicals, would help.

My Lush Tip of the day - take it with you when you travel, fantastic on flights (with or without make-up), but be careful when you spritz!, but that's another story!
